My name is Sean Houston, and I am the proud founder of Houston Hedges. When I decided to pursue my dream of being self-employed, I invested what little I had in my savings account in a top-of-the-line STIHL trimmer and an orchard ladder. In addition to a borrowed leaf blower and mini van this was how I served my first customer. It was a cool Saturday afternoon and the weather was threating rain but it was with tremendous pride and excitement that I trimmed my very first Houston Hedge.

To me, a Houston Hedge is a hedge that is neatly trimmed and even along the top. When standing at one end of the hedge and looking all the way down, it's straight, without a single leaf or branch out of place. It’s a hedge that when you step back and look at it, you can smile and say to yourself, “THAT's a Houston Hedge!”
